The Multi panel combines three vital controllers of your aircraft into one:Ī full autopilot control suite with an ARM switch that lets you set airspeed, altitude, vertical speed, heading, and course with rotary knobs and display buttons The Switch panel lets you control engine startup, lights, master electrical, avionics, pitot heat, landing gear, and various other functions at the flick of a switch. This side of the cockpit is also where you will find your Switch and Multi panels. And the best part is that you can do this not by pointing and clicking with your mouse, but with your hands on actual radios reminiscent of the Bendix King radios found in many GA trainers. You can dial these in as COM 1 & COM 2 on one panel and NAV 1 & NAV 2 on the other panel, or switch on-the-fly to your ADF, DME, or transponder. The right side of the Pro Flight Simulator Cockpit is home to your control panels, starting with a couple of Saitek Radio Panels that give you four total radios with standby buttons right at your fingertips. You get all the gauges you would expect in a real Skyhawk or Archer:Įxtend the Flaps, Set your Radios, or let Autopilot Take Care of Everything

The FIPs mount on the left side of the cockpit in your natural line of vision to provide you with perfect situational awareness in any IFR environment. These incredibly versatile devices feature a 3.5" (8.9cm) LCD screen that can each display a standard steam gauge relaying real-time information. The Saitek cockpit includes 10 of our extremely popular Flight Instrument Panels (FIPs). The cockpit simulates all the procedures from real-world flying, without the need to spend $60,000 on a full-motion flight simulator.ġ0 Flight Instrument Panels Display a Multitude of Gauges Take to the sky and trim her out, not with a keyboard but with your hand on a big Cessna trim wheel.

Taxi out on the runway, steering with your feet on the rudder pedals, hands on the yoke and throttle lever. Turn the metal knobs on your radio stack to dial-in the tower. Twist an actual magneto switch to turn over the engine. Initiate the pre-flight in your cold and dark aircraft by flipping real switches to control the cabin and external lights. Whether it's as a personal training device for a private pilot license, a flying school to improve the interaction of classroom studies, or advanced students looking to study for instrument ratings, our Pro Flight hardware has been tested by generations of flight enthusiasts and is trusted the world over as the number one name in flight sim.

Used with an appropriate PC, screen, and either Microsoft Flight Sim X, X-plane, or Prepar3D, the cockpit can help you become fully familiar with the controls, processes and navigation systems of the world's most popular light aircraft. The cockpit is styled after those found in popular general aviation (GA) aircraft trainers like the Cessna Skyhawk and the Piper Archer.
